Mutya sang Sinadya sa Halaran 2007

Sinadya sa Halaran in commemoration of the feast of the Virgin of the Immaculate Concepcion is a joint festivity of Roxas City and the province of Capiz, and is being celebrated every December 4-8.The search for Mutya sang Sinadya sa Halaran is considered as one of the high lights of the said festival. Candidates from different parts of the province of Capiz are welcome to join the said pageant. But among the lovely contestants, a third year BSCRIM student of Capiz State University (CapSU) Dayao Campus was crowned as the 2007 Mutya sang Sinadya sa Halaran. Her name was Ms. Bernadette Demoy. Here are some of the facts about her:

Motet as fondly called by her friends, Ms. Bernadette Demoy was crowned as the Mutya sang Sinadya sa Halaran 2007. She was a daughter of a provincial guard in our province. She was sent to President Manuel A. Roxas Memorial School for her elementary. And finished her Basic Educational Curriculum at Capiz National High School and currently taking up Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCRIM) at Capiz State University Dayao Campus and was one of the varsity players in Taekwondo and was also considered as one of the prettiest face in the university. She was a 3 time gold medalist in Taekwondo Fly Weight Division in State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association Meet (SCUAA) and was sent to metro Manila to represent Visayas. She was able to grab a silver medal during the national competition.
